Turner Announces the Signing of Hoover

Cam Hoover looks to provide versatility and size to the Racer lineup.
Murray State women's basketball head coach Rechelle Turner announces the addition of Cam Hoover for the 2023 signing class.

Hoover is a 6'0" forward playing for the Wooldridge High School Bulldogs. She averaged 15.1 points per game in the 2022-23 season and was named All-Midwest Athletic Conference First Team.
Â
The Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio native can shoot from range while also dominating rebounds, averaging 8.4 per game last season.

"Cam has the size, strength and skill to be utilized all over the floor. She defends and rebounds at a very high level, and her motor is always running," said Coach Turner.

"Her versatility as a player and her high basketball IQ will allow her to fit in any lineup. Cam will be a great addition to our Racer family."

Hoover will join the Racers for the 2024-25 season.
