Katelyn Young earn weekly honors after posting her fourth double-double at Western Carolina.

Murray State Women's Basketball's Katelyn Young has been named Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league, today.

Young posted her fourth double-double of the season with 29 points and 10 rebounds to the Racers on win at Western Carolina, Dec. 18. It is her eighth consecutive double digit-point game.

She now has 1868 points for the Racers and is 419 points away from being the all-time leading scorer in program history.

The Racers will return home to open conference play against Valparaiso, Saturday.
