Tee Time – Racers Visit Millwood at Missouri State Event

The Racers travel to Springfield to participate in the Missouri State Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday
The Murray State men's golf team hits the road for Springfield and a date in the 7th annual Missouri State Intercollegiate (March 20-21) at Millwood Country Club.
The 54-hole event is played Monday and Tuesday and it marks the first time for the Racers to compete against multiple teams from the Missouri Valley Conference. Murray State is part of the 15-team field, with six Valley teams including Belmont, Bradley, Drake, Missouri State, Murray State and Northern Iowa.
The Racers get a look at Millwood, which is one of the top courses in the Show Me State. Three-time major championship winner, the late Payne Stewart, holds the course record with a 62. Millwood has also hosted events over the years including the Missouri Amateur, Missouri Am Stroke Play and Korn Ferry Price Tour qualifiers.
The schedule of play calls for 36 holes on Monday with the final round coming Tuesday morning. Each day begins with an 8:30 a.m. CT shotgun start.
The Racers are paired with Omaha and Northern Iowa on the first day of competition.
