- Once again against the Panthers, a lack of offense plagued the Racers. Murray State scattered just three hits across seven innings with no runs in the series finale. It marked the second consecutive game that the Murray State bats were kept mostly silent by Samantha Heyer, who struck out 23 Racers over a combined 12.0 innings of work.
 - Murray State also did not do itself any favors defensively Saturday, as it committed four errors compared to just one by UNI.
 - Jenna Veber was one of four Murray State pitchers used in the game and ultimately took the loss to fall to 9-3 on the year.
