Emma and Annika earned MVC Honors after an undefeated weekend
Emma Honore and Annika Pschorr have been named Missouri Valley Conference Doubles Team of the Week after going undefeated last weekend in their conference opener versus Valparaiso and Bradley.Â
Honore and Pschorr contributed to the Racers' win over Valparaiso winning their match (6-2), Saturday. They came back on Sunday against Bradley and won their doubles match (6-2). Honore and Pschorr clinched the doubles point in both of their matches Saturday and Sunday.
The pair is currently on a five-match win streak, standing at 5-1 as a doubles pair. With their doubles win against Bradley, Emma Honore reached a career milestone of 125 total wins.Â
Pschorr went 4-0 on the weekend, winning both of her doubles and singles matches. In her singles match against Valparaiso, she defeated her opponent in the third flight (6-2), (6-2). On Sunday against Bradley, she won her singles match in three sets (6-2), (6-7), (10-6). Honore had a singles win Sunday as well, defeating her opponent in the second flight (6-1), (6-2).Â
