Murray State fell 7-5 to Belmont despite launching four long balls
Carson Garner continued his string of round trippers with two in the contest following his walk-off blast on Tuesday night. Drew Vogel had a strong night at the plate with two hits including a big fly of his own while Taylor Howell rounded out the home runs with a solo blast in the ninth inning.Â
Relief pitcher tossed two perfect innings and picked up a strikeout to limit the Belmont offense late in the matchup.
Game two of the series is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday.
