Miller Earns MVC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Dahlia Miller earns her first weekly honors after a record-breaking weekend at EKU.
Murray State volleyball's Dahlia Miller is named Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference today.

Miller earned her honors after her record-breaking weekend at Eastern Kentucky. She renewed the MVC and Murray State's record by posting 50 digs against Chattanooga. She's tied for ninth all-time performances in the NCAA. She also posted 23 digs against Eastern Kentucky and 20 on the Racers' sweep over Georgia State.

Jodi Price set the previous MSU record in 1989 with 48 digs against Morehead. Drake's Emma Raleigh set the previous MVC record against Bradley in 2019.

This is the Racers' first weekly MVC honors of the season and Miller's first career weekly honors.

The Racers will be back at home for their conference opener against Evansville, Sep. 22.
