Murray State volleyball’s Lily Burnett earns MVC honors after her debut weekend.

Murray State volleyball's Lily Burnett earned the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week honors after her debut weekend with the Racers.

The Murray native posted ten blocks through the weekend with three block solos and seven block assists. In her debut, she posted two block solos, two block assists and four kills to help the Racers' sweep win over Evansville.

Burnett improved her outlet in her second start on the Racers' 3-1 win over Indiana State. She posted 11 kills with a .611 hitting percentage while nabbing one block solo and five block assists.

The Racers will travel to Belmont for a midweek clash, tomorrow.
