Kiuru and Henry Finish in the Top Five Individually as Racers Fall to Eagles

Murray State Rifle fell to Georgia Southern 4731-4691 on aggregate across both small bore and air rifle over the weekend at Pat Spurgin Rifle Range in Murray, Kentucky.

Matias Kiuru finished as the top finisher for MSU as he finished with an aggregate score of 1181 (587 SB, 594 AR) to finish third overall. Allison Henry also made a top five appearance as she fired a 1178 aggregate score (582 SB, 596 AR). Henry finished second in air rifle among all shooters, finishing just one point away from the top mark. Zach Jackson finished as the top small bore competitor for the Racers finishing with a 589.

Freshman Caroline Martin finished with her best score as a Racer with an 1174 (580 SB, 594 AR) while Alok Joarder and Scott Patterson rounded out the MSU competitors in the top 10.

Murray State is back in action on January 21 as they host the Withrow Invitational.
