Haven Ford averaged 18 points per game to earn her first MVC honors.
Murray State women's basketball's Haven Ford has been named Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week as announced by the league, today.

Ford averaged 18 points per game this past weekend and led the Racers when they fell to Missouri State, Sunday.

This award is the Morehead, Kentucky native's first collegiate honors. She shot 6-13 from the floor and 4-6 from three-point range.

The Racers visit a familiar opponent when they visit Belmont, Friday.
