Lindsay Named MVC Player of Week

KyeRon Lindsay was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week Monday, as announced from the league office in St. Louis.

Lindsay, a junior out of Denton, Texas, scored a career-high 27 points in the Racers' 88-67 road win at Middle Tennesseeon Saturday.

He hit 12-of-16 from the field and 3-of-4 from the free throw line, his 12 field goals is tied for the lead this season in the MVC.

Lindsay added eight rebounds, four assists and five blocked shots.

When he entered the game with the Racers trailed MTSU 12-9 and Lindsay keyed a 14-0 run that put the Racers into the lead for good.

The Racers (2-1) are back at home this week for a pair of games against teams they've never met before. MSU hosts Maryland Eastern Shore and Utah Valley on Wednesday and Friday at the CFSB Center with both games beginning at 7 p.m.
