Halli Poock has earned Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week honors

Murray State women's basketball player Halli Poock was named Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.

Poock led the Racers to two victories on the week, including a 25-point road win at Saint Louis and a 116-80 victory at home over Austin Peay for the Racers most points ever against a Divison I opponent. Poock averaged 21.5 points across the two games, including a 30-point performance over Austin Peay as she also dished out eight assists with no turnovers in the matchup. For the week, Poock scored 43 points to go with 10 assists and four steals. The Waterloo, Iowa native is averaging 17.6 points and 4.8 assists on the year.

Poock and the Racers will be back in action on Sunday when they travel to Alabama.
