North Alabama
The Lions are coming off a 4-1 weekend Troy. They collected two wins over Samford, a win over UT Martin and Troy on opening weekend.

On offense, the Lions are being led by Haven Kirby who posted a .316 batting average with six hits, six RBIs, two home runs and 16 total bases on opening weekend.

In the circle, Alivia Wilken posted 12 strikeouts, a .36 ERA and a .612 WHIP.

Jacksonville State
The Gamecocks are coming off a 1-4 weekend at the Carolina Classic hosted by South Carolina. They grabbed a win over UNC Greensboro at opening weekend.

Morgan Nowakowski led the Gamecocks' offense with four RBIs, five hits and eight total bases on opening weekend. Emma Jones and Lindsey Richardson also had three RBIs each.

Western Kentucky
The Lade Toppers went 3-1-1 on opening weekend. They grabbed wins over Missouri State, Army and NC State on their weekend at the NFCA Leadoff Classic.

WKU has six players with four or more hits on opening weekend. Taylor Sanders, Cheyanne Sale, Morgan Sharpe and Brylee Hage had six hits each. Randi Drinnon had four hits while Kelsey Schmidt had four hits and led the team with three RBIs.

Chattanooga
The Mocs are coming off a 1-4 opening weekend at the 38th Annual Louisiana Classic at Louisiana. They grabbed a win over New Mexico while falling to the hosts and Cal Berkeley twice each.

Camryn Cernuto and Acelynn Seller had six hits each on opening weekend. Sellers had 11 total bases while posting two RBIs.

Ball State
The Cardinals went 1-4 on opening weekend with a win over Fordham at Jacksonville. They dropped their games against James Madison twice, Jacksonville and North Florida.

Senior infielder Haley Wynn posted seven hits through the weekend while Jessica Hoffman led the Cardinals with five RBIs.

- The Racers are going into the new season with several new faces.
- Racers Softball features 10 new faces which includes eight freshmen in their 21-player roster.
- Senior catcher Taylor Jackson returns for her final year. She was named MVC All-Defensive team last year after posting 371 putouts through the season.
- The Racers will also feature the return of senior pitcher Jenna Veber who only allowed 21 walks and a 2.02 ERA last season.
- Murray State placed fourth in the regular season of their inaugural campaign at the Missouri Valley Conference last season.
- The Racers are picked to place sixth in the MVC preseason polls.
