Carson Garner hit his sixth home run of the season.
The Racers dropped the second game of the weekend series to the No. 2-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks 11-1 in eight innings in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Both teams were scoreless through the first three frames before Arkansas scored nine of their runs in the fourth and fifth innings.
Carson Garner scored the Racers' run on a solo shot for his sixth homer of the season.
The Racers held Arkansas without a run in the sixth and seventh innings, but a pair of runs gave the Razorbacks the mercy rule win.
Bryce Valero made efficient work in his start on the bump, allowing just one run on one hit and four walks in three innings.
Jacob Hustedde made his first collegiate appearance out of the bullpen, tossing 1 1/3 innings with a strikeout and a walk.
Murray State wraps up the series with Arkansas on Sunday, March 3 at 1 p.m. CT.
