Racers Host Drake on Alumni Weekend

The Murray State softball will host Drake for their fifth Missouri Valley Conference series of the season, Friday through Sunday.

This will be the Bulldogs' first visit to Racer Field.

This will be the sixth meeting between the Racers and the Bulldogs. The Racers lead the series 4-1 with Drake winning their last meeting 1-0 in 14 innings. Three out of five of the previous meetings has gone to extra innings.

Scouting Drake
Drake is 4-6 in Missouri Valley Conference play and is 16-17 overall this season. They won their previous MVC series 2-1 against Evansville and are coming off a 3-6 loss to Missouri.

Addie Lightner leads the Bulldogs' scoring with 19 RBIs while batting .288. Their offense is led by Emma Dighton with a .343 batting average.
