Harcum & Milton Sign With the Racers

The Murray State men’s basketball adds two talented players for 2024-25
Murray State men's basketball head coach Steve Prohm announced the signing of Terence Harcum and Kylen Milton.

Both are seniors and have one season to play for the Racers in the 2024-25 season.

"We are extremely excited to add Kylen and Terence to the Racer Basketball Family," said Prohm. "They were both players that my staff and I prioritized from the very beginning of this spring recruitment period. We can't wait to get them on campus in June and get to work!" Â

Terence Harcum – G – 6-3 – Butner, N.C.
Terence Harcum Joins the Racers after three seasons with Appalachian State where he was an All-Sun Belt Conference Third Team selection and scored 802 points in 84 games over three seasons.

In the 2023-24 season, Harcum appeared in 34 games with 33 starts and scored 12.0ppg with 35 assists and 23 steals. He ranked third in the Sun Belt Conference with 73 made 3-point baskets and was a .356 shooter from the 3-point line on 73-of-205.

Harcum's season-high was a 26-point game at Georgia Southern when he was 10-of-17 from the field, including 5-of-8 from the 3-point line. He also scored 23 against Georgia Southern in their first meeting and added additional 22-point performances against Georgia State and Old Dominion.

As a sophomore in 2022-23, Harcum appeared in 32 games and made 25 starts (11.2ppg) with 62 threes and a team-high 83 percent from the free throw line. His career-high of 28 points came against Old Dominion on eight 3-pointers.

Harcum was part of a 27-win team at Appalachian State that won the Sunbelt championship and played in the NIT.

Kylen Milton – G – 6-4 – Conway, Ark.
Kylen Milton joins the Racers after three seasons at Arkansas-Pine Bluff and one season at Western Kentucky with 97 career games played with 1,262 points.

In the 2023-24 season, Milton was named to the All-Southwest Athletic Conference Team after a big season where he averaged 17 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

Milton scored in double-figures 24 times last season with 11 games of 20 or more points. He scored 34 points in the season opener against Missouri on 8-of-10 from the field and 15-of-20 from the free throw line and added a 24-point game against Oklahoma on 8-of-13 from the field. Milton had 19 points and 14 rebounds against Alcorn for one of his five double-doubles in the 2023-24 season. He also averaged eight free throw attempts per game.
