Honore and Slezakova earn MVC Doubles Team of the Week for the second consecutive week

Graduates Emma Honore and Natalie Slezakova were named Missouri Valley Conference Doubles Team of the Week for the second consecutive week.

The duo has played at the number one doubles spot all season, and they concluded their final regular season matches this weekend. The Racers traveled to Valparaiso and Bradley where they secured the MVC Regular Season Title.

Against Valparaiso, Honore/Slezakova clinched the doubles point against Olivia Czerwonka/Sydney Stone, defeating the pair 6-3. With this win, Slezakova earned her 100th career win. In her singles match, Honore secured her 175th career win. The following day against Bradley, the pair clinched the doubles point again, defeating Kirstin Hailey/Andra Sirbu 6-3.

The pair finished the conference season with a 6-2 record, all at the number one spot. The duo will conclude their final season this weekend at the Missouri Valley Conference tournament.
