MVC Tournament Bracket Announced

The Murray State Softball are ready for their second go at the Missouri Valley Conference Softball Tournament when they take on the UIC Flames at Normal, Ill., Wednesday.

The MVC stages its postseason tournament with the Racers and Flames meeting in the first game of the event, Wednesday at 9 a.m.

The Racers are the No. 9 seed and the Braves are No. 8, with the winner facing No. 1 seed Southern Illinois at the same time Thursday.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 8
9 am -- GAME 1 (No. 8 UIC vs. No. 9 Murray State)
11:30 pm* -- GAME 2 (No. 5 Bradley vs. No. 12 Valparaiso)
2 pm* -- GAME 3 (No. 7 Drake vs. No. 10 Evansville)
4:30 pm* -- GAME 4 (No. 6 Missouri State vs. No. 11 Indiana State)

THURSDAY, MAY 9
10 am -- GAME 5 (No. 1 Southern Illinois vs. Game 1 winner)

4 pm* -- GAME 7 (No. 2 UNI vs. Game 3 winner)
