Racers Earn AVCA Team Academic Award

Murray State Volleyball was among 11 MVC Schools that were recognized by the AVCA

Murray State volleyball earned the 2024 American Volleyball Coaches Association and United State Marine Corps Team Academic Award, as announced by the group from their home office in Lexington, Kentucky.

The team award for the Racers comes in a second-consecutive year and it is their seventh in the last nine years.

The award honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or better.

At the end of the 2023 season, Murrray State's Bailey DeMier, Dahlia Miller and Ella Vogel were honored as a Missouri Valley Conference All-Scholar Athlete.
