MVC Honors Racers For Academic Success

After a spring semester with a record GPA, the Racers received multiple awards from the Missouri Valley Conference for academic success
After posting their 40th consecutive semester with overall GPA above 3.0 and a record 3.34 GPA this past spring, Murray State Athletics was honored this week for academic success from the Missouri Valley Conference.
The Racers posted 17 student-athletes were among the 212 across the MVC that earned the league's highest academic honor in receiving the MVC Board of Directors Academic Excellence Award.

The MVC Board of Directors Academic Excellence Award requires a minimum 3.8 cumulative grade point average, participation in athletics a minimum of two years, and the student-athlete must be within 18 hours of graduation by the end of the Spring 2024 semester.
Additionally, the Racers also had a total of 237 citations to receive the league's MVC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award and MVC Honor Roll Award.
