Metzger Named Preseason All-MVC

Metzger was recognized by the Missouri Valley Conference going into her senior season

Murray State Volleyball's Darci Metzger was named to the 2024 Missouri Valley Conference Preseason All-Conference team.

The fifth-year led the Racers in several statistical categories in 2023 including kills per set with 4.28, second most in the MVC.

Metzger also led the Racers in total points with 489.5 with her average of 4.53 per set being third most in the MVC.

This is the Collinsville, Illinois native's second time appearing on an All-MVC list as Metzger was also named First Team All-MVC following the 2023 season.

The Racers will open their season on August 30, 2024, at 11 a.m. against Jackson State at the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Volleyball Classic in Lafayette, La.
