Dahlia Miller Named Defensive Player of the Week

Miller was selected as the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week.
Dahlia Miller of Murray State Volleyball was named Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week on Monday. Â
ÂThe graduate student put together an impressive week at the SIUE Cougar Classic, with a total of 76 digs across three matches, including a season-high of 41 against SIUE on Friday. Miller also recorded a season-high in assists against the Cougars with 7 and had a service ace against Chattanooga on Saturday. Â
ÂIn addition to being named Defensive Player of the Week, Miller was named a member of the SIUE Cougar Classic All-Tournament team. Â
ÂThe Pearland, Texas native is currently fourth in the MVC and 10th in the nation with an average of 5.20 digs per set and a total of 182 on the season, second most in the conference. Â
ÂThe Racers will begin Missouri Valley Conference play next weekend on the road against the Illinois State Redbirds at 6:00 p.m. CT on Friday, September 27. Â
