Investors will receive one point for every $100 donated to NIL efforts
Murray State Athletics is strengthening its commitment to providing a world-class Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) experience for its student-athletes by allowing investors who donate to the Blue & Gold Standard, the official NIL entity of the Racers, to receive Racer Club Priority points for their generous contributions.
With this strategic initiative, investors will receive one point for every $100 given towards NIL. These points will also be retroactively added for donors who have already been supporting the Blue & Gold Standard's NIL efforts.
"Increasing the philanthropic support for each of our Racer Athletics sport programs, and NIL specifically, is a crucial part of our ability to elevate our competitiveness in the MVC and MVFC and our ability to stay forward focused in the ever-evolving landscape in college athletics," Director of Athletics Nico Yantko said. "Incentivizing and recognizing those who are stepping up to support NIL is critical to effectively elevate our programs, as well as emphasize the prioritization of NIL and other future benefits to permissibly provide these opportunities to our student-athletes."
Priority points can be redeemed for numerous benefits exclusive to Racer Club members, such as seating considerations and preferred ticketing status for postseason tournaments. Premium seating and club access as part of the newly-announced future renovation of the CFSB Center will also be allocated based on priority points.
Murray State Ticket Office and Racer Club staff will send out communication on a monthly basis in regards to priority point rank.
The Blue & Gold Standard is the sole NIL collective partner of Racer Athletics and supports all 15 Murray State sport programs.
