Murray State goes into 2024-25 with a competitive non-conference slate and into their third season in the MVC
The Murray State men's basketball team released its non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season that features traditional opponents and at least two opponents they'll meet for the first time.

The 100th season in Murray State history and the 27th in the CFSB Center begins (Nov. 4) against Bethel (TN), before the Racers hit the road for Pittsburgh (Nov. 8) and Middle Tennessee (Nov. 16).
Later in November, the Racers meet three teams for the first time. Maryland Eastern Shore and Utah Valley visit Murray on Nov. 20 & 22.
The Racers hit the road for a neutral site game (Nov. 23) for their second game against UT Arlington and first since 1968.
Southeast Missouri visits MSU (Dec. 8) and the Racers play at Western Kentucky (Dec. 14). When considering MSU's series with MTSU, SEMO and WKU, these traditional rivals, that date back to the 1930's, have given Racer Nation big thrills in a combined 386 games played in 10 decades.
Christmas week finds MSU in Honolulu, at the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond head Classic (Dec. 22, 23, 25) when the Racers play Nebraska in their opening game at Stan Sherrif Arena.
The Racers' third season in the Missouri Valley Conference features two games before Christmas with Evansville visiting Murray (Dec. 3) and the Racers traveling to Indiana State (Dec. 18) prior to making their trip to Hawaii. The Valley schedule resumes with Illinois State playing at the CFSB Center on Jan. 2.
