The Racers look to build on their three-match win streak as they travel to Northwest Indiana to take on the Valparaiso Beacons.
Murray State has recorded multi-goal performances in back-to-back matches, with Mary Hardy scoring twice against Evansville and Ava Roberson netting two goals at UIC.
Depth has been on display all season, with Roberson's two-goal outing off the bench serving as the latest example.
With their late-season surge, the Racers have climbed to the top RPI position in the Missouri Valley Conference, ranking No. 130 nationally.
Offensively, Murray State has consistently generated scoring opportunities, averaging 16.06 shots per match — good for 41st in the nation.
While the Racers haven't dominated the stat sheet defensively, their back line led by senior Megan Wilson has been strong all year, holding opponents to just 11.4 shots per match.
Valparaiso enters Sunday's matchup with momentum after earning its first conference win of the season over Belmont on Thursday.
The Beacons are led by senior Molly O'Rear, a Preseason All-MVC First Team selection, who has five goals and three assists this season. Standout freshman Kiara Desiderio leads the team with six goals.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Sunday in Valparaiso, Indiana.
