Racers Tennis is on the Road

Site(Venue): Nashville, Tn (Currey Tennis Center); Murfreesboro, Tn (Adams Tennis Complex)

Opponents: Vanderbilt and Middle Tennessee

The Murray State women's tennis team is set to compete this weekend in two matches against Tennessee teams.

Racer tennis is coming off a 1-3 weekend in Paducah, Ky. The Racers took two hard losses against Southeast Missouri and Louisiana Tech and a phenomenal win against Austin Peay.

The Navy & Gold are headed to the Music City to play the Commodores of Vanderbilt, who lead the all-time series 3-0. The last matchup between the teams came in 2015 with The Racers taking a loss, 0-4. Murray State looks to secure their first win against The Commodores in the upcoming match.

The Racers are also set to take on Middle Tennessee this weekend. The Blue Raiders also leads this series 7-1. Murray State took home their first win in this series during the last matchup, 5-2, which came in 2024.
