Four in Double Figures as Racers Drop UNI in Dramatic Fashion

Murray State women's basketball defeated Northern Iowa 96-91 on Saturday afternoon
Murray State women's basketball defeated Northern Iowa 96-91 with the Racers scoring seven unanswered points to close the game at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky. Katelyn Young, Haven Ford, Ava Learn, and Halli Poock all scored 16 or more points.
Young had 30 points and 10 rebounds while Learn posted 21 points and 16 rebounds.The sophomore guard duo of Ford and Poock had 23 and 16 points, respectively. Three of Ford's points came with one minute left in the contest to give MSU a 92-91 lead.
Learn led the Racers with three, three pointers as Murray State knocked down 11 three point attempts in the game. Ford led the play making efforts with seven assists on the day.
Murray State shot 44 percent from behind the three point line and knocked down 21 out of 23 free throw attempts. The Racers complete the regular season sweep of UNI after the Racers defeated the Panthers for the first time in program history on January 16 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
