Racers Sweep MVC Weekly Honors

Alexeyeva, Campigotto and Chaikovskaia earn MVC Weekly Honors

Varya Alexeyeva, Paola Campigotto and Valeria Chaikovskaia secured weekly awards from The Missouri Valley Conference, as announced by the league office in St. Louis.

Alexeyeva and Campigotto were named Doubles Team of the Week for the second-straight week. The duo secured their sixth consecutive win this weekend. They improved to 12-1 for the season.

Sophomore, Chaikovskaia was named Singles Player of the Week for the third time in her Racer career. Valeria went 3-0 for the weekend against Southeast Missouri, Austin Peay and Louisiana Tech . She is now 17-3 for the season, playing all her matches at the #1 spot

The Racers will play again in Nashville, Tn on February 14 against Vanderbilt.
