The Racers fired a 2371 in air rifle for an aggregate of 4693 after recording a 2322 in smallbore on Friday.  Freshman Carlotta Salafia placed fourth individually in air rifle with a 207.2.
"I'm proud of Carlotta," said head coach Alan Lollar.  "She had a nice day in air rifle and competed well in the final."
Salafia finished the day with a 598 to lead the Racers.  Scott Patterson was just behind with a 594, while John Blanton posted a 590, Allison Henry put up a 589, and Zach Jackson finished with a 587.
"The team worked hard. Just getting here is a win," said Lollar.  "We got to play on the last day. Only eight teams get to do that.  I'm extremely proud of this team and what we accomplished."
In their 70th season of competition, the Racers captured their fifth consecutive and 19th Ohio Valley Conference championship of all time and reached the NCAA Championships for the 36th time.
