Coach Jorge Caetano announced the addition of two new Racers for the 2025-26 season
The Murray State women's tennis head coach Jorge Caetano announced the addition of Sofia Issakova and Arden Dethridge who join the program in the fall as freshmen.
"I am very happy with the addition of Sofia and Arden and their decision to become Murray State Racers," said Caetano. "We look at players' abilities beyond the tennis court and I believe both of them will fit in perfectly within our team culture. They are excellent students and showed they are looking forward to being part of a family and I can't wait to have them on campus next Fall."

- Currently ranked 232 in the ITF World Junior rankings and holds a career high of a ranking of 209.
- She is the highest ranked recruit in Murray State program history.
- Has won five ITF Junior World Singles Titles and four ITF Junior World Doubles Titles.
- In 2024, recorded seven junior championships and seven second place finishes including: J100 Astana, J100 Issyk-Kul, ATA, Tashkent and Namangan.
- This marks back-to-back years in which the Racers have recruited the record-highest ranked recruit.
- In 2024, MSU signed Yu Kikawa, who was ranked 271.
- Ranked fourth in Kentucky High School Athletics Association 2025 Class.
- Marks back-to-back years in which Racers have a commitment from a Top-10 recruit in Kentucky (Molly Null, #9 in 2024).
- Won three-straight KHSAA Region-4 singles titles from 8th grade to sophomore.
- Part of three KHSAA team championships at Greenwood.
- 2021 - reached the singles round of 16 at KHSAA State Tournament.
