The Racers are playing the Audubon GC in Memphis for the first time

The Murray State men's golf team saw Peyton Purvis and Trey Wall share the runner up honor, each with a total score of 204, in the final round of the Grover Page Classic in Memphis, Tennessee.

Playing the The Links at Audubon GC for the first time, Purvis had a score line of 70-64-70-204 and Wall 72-64-69=204, to finish only two shots from medalist winner Haden Maxwell of Tennessee Tech at 70-65-67=202.

The Racers team score line was 282-269-284=835.

Next up for the Racers is a date at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate (Oct. 6-7) in Jonesbro, Arkansas at RidgePointe Country Club.
