Murray State Athletics Unveils Football Game Day Enhancements for 2025 Season

Racers kick off the season on Saturday, Sept. 6, when they take on Southeastern Louisiana during Family Weekend
Murray State Athletics has announced new game day and fan experience enhancements ahead of the 2025 football season, which begins on Saturday, Sept. 6, when the Racers face off with Southeastern Louisiana on Family Weekend. Kickoff at Roy Stewart Stadium is set for 6 p.m.
The contest is the first of five home games over the course of the season, with visits from Illinois State (Oct. 11), South Dakota State (Oct. 18), Southern Illinois (Nov. 1) and North Dakota (Nov. 15) rounding out the schedule.
"Our goal is to constantly find new ways to enhance our game days, so we are thrilled about the new offerings for football season this year," Director of Athletics Nico Yantko said. "Football games are one of our top community unifiers, and we are excited for all of Racer Nation to join us on Saturday night for Family Weekend."

September 6 vs. Southeastern Louisiana – Family Weekend/Salute to Service
Concessions Offerings
Murray State Athletics, in conjunction with its concessions partner Sodexo, will roll out new menu items on a game-by-game basis. These special, limited time offerings, will be announced on game week on Murray State's social media platforms.
Traditional game day offerings will still be available throughout the year.
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase beer, seltzers, and other similar offerings at select concessions stands inside Roy Stewart Stadium. Alcohol will be sold on the South Concourse and at the kiosk near Gate 3, and will be managed by Sodexo, and will be limited to two per transaction with sales stopping at the end of the third quarter.
Chick-Fil-A
New to Roy Stewart Stadium this year, Chick-Fil-A will serve some of your favorite menu items during football game days. From sandwiches, to their famous lemonade, and chocolate chip cookies, this will be sure to quench your game day appetite.
The stand is located on north side of the concourse.
Pregame Concert Series, presented by Helix Creative
The Pregame Concert Series, presented by Helix Creative, returns with a new lineup for the 2025 season.
Performances will begin at the conclusion of the Racer Walk.

Clear Bag Policy
Consistent with policies in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the Missouri Valley Football Conference, and nationally, Murray State Athletics has implemented a clear bag policy that limits the size and types of bags that may be brought into home athletics events at Roy Stewart Stadium and the CFSB Center.
The following bags will be permitted inside Murray State athletic facilities and are subject to search:

- Clutch or small purse, with or without a strap, that does not exceed 4.5" by 6.5".
