Head Coach Ryan Miller adds another important piece to his first staff at Murray State for 2025-26
Murray State head men's basketball coach Ryan Miller announced the hiring of Jahenns Manigat, who joins the Racers for the 2025-26 season as Director of Player Personnel and comes to MSU with experience in the Missouri Valley Conference as a student-athlete at Creighton.
Â
Manigat comes to Murray State with the experience of playing in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Â
"We are excited to welcome Jahenns Manigat as our Director of Player Personnel for the Murray State Racers," said Coach Miller. "As a captain for Creighton, where he helped secure an MVC regular season championship and two MVC tournament titles, Jahenns brings a proven championship pedigree. His professional playing experience and recent role as a graduate assistant with the Bluejays equip him with deep basketball knowledge and passion. Jahenns' leadership, work ethic, and ability to connect with players will be crucial as we strengthen our championship culture at Murray State."
Â
"I'm grateful to be a part of this amazing staff and players that we have here at Murray State and many thanks to Coach Miller for this opportunity." said Manigat. "I'm looking forward to using my experiences as a player in The Valley to help coach our team to the goals we are trying to achieve!"
Â
Manigat enjoyed an excellent playing career with the Bluejays from 2010-14 and returned to Creighton in the 2024-25 season as a graduate assistant, where Coach Miller was an assistant.
Â
The first Canadian to play at Creighton, Manigat was honored as team captain three times and named the Bluejays' Most Inspirational Award in 2014. Manigat finished sixth on the Creighton all-time 3-point basket list with 206 and went on to play 10 seasons as a professional in Austria, Canada, Cyprus, Kosovo, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland and Romania.
Â
Manigat earned a degree in psychology from Creighton in 2014 and earned a communications certificate in 2025.
