The Racers meet the Purple Aces Wednesday at the Ford Center
The Murray State Racers have won their last nine games since Thanksgiving week in the Cayman Islands and their first five in the Missouri Valley Conference. Now they take to the road Wednesday to meet the Evansville Purple Aces. Tip time is 7 p.m. at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
MSU's 9-game streak is tops in the MVC, and 10th nationally and it's their best since 2022 when MSU under Coach Matt McMahon, won 21-straight when their season ended at the NCAA Tournament in a loss to Saint Peter's.
The Racers are coming off an impressive 86-66 thrashing of the Bradley Braves on Sunday in Murray as the Racers hit a season-high 10 3-pointers in the first half.
After the game at Evansville, the Racers come home Saturday to host Valparaiso at 3 p.m. in the CFSB Center.
