The Racers take on the Braves at Carver Arena
It's hard to believe the Murray State Racers have reached the end of the 2025-26 regular season and play their 31st game Sunday against the Bradley Braves in Peoria, Illinois. Tip time Sunday is set for 1 p.m. at Carver Arena where the Racers have yet to win in three tries since joining the Missouri Valley Conference in 2022.
The Racers got the best of the Braves in their first meeting (Jan. 4) in Murray that ended as one of MSU's best performances of the season in the 86-66 victory.
The Racers are coming off an 88-75 win last weekend over Evansville, a win that made MSU Head Coach Ryan Miller the fourth in program history to win 20 games in his rookie season in the modern era that dates back to 1948. Miller joins Tevester Anderson (1998-99), Mick Cronin (2003-04) and Steve Prohm (2011-12) on the very short list.
With the MVC Tournament coming next week in St. Louis, the Racers can secure the No. 2 seed with a win at Bradley. The game at Carver is among a action-packed Sunday at The Valley with hundreds of scenarios of how the final seeding will come out by early evening.
The Racers are looking for their first win at Carver Arena in their fourth game there in MVC play and first win there since 1981.
