Racers Earn Date With Maryland in Round of 64

Murray State women's basketball will battle Maryland in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on Friday

After winning the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Championship, Murray State women's basketball will take on Maryland in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The matchup is the first ever between the two programs and is the Racers third NCAA Tournament appearance in program history. MSU faced another Big 10 foe in Iowa in the First Round of the Big Dance a season ago.

Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT and the game will be aired on ESPNU.
