Jonas Boulefaa Signs with Murray State Men’s Basketball

French forward spent 2025-26 playing for Blois in France Élite 2
Murray State men's basketball has announced the signing of French international Jonas Boulefaa.
The 6-foot-10 power forward considered college basketball ahead of the 2025-26 season with interest from Illinois, Louisville, and Fresno State before playing club ball for Blois in France Élite 2 this year.
"Jonas is an extremely talented forward who will give us a lot on the court," head coach Ryan Miller said. "He's a talented shot-maker with strong passing instincts and is a solid rebounder. He competes at a high-level every time he steps on the floor, and we are excited to welcome him to Murray State."
In his lone year with Blois, he averaged 6.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in 33 appearances. In the previous four seasons, he played for Pôle France, averaging 8.9 points and 3.8 assists in 75 games played.
Boulefaa has represented his home nation of France on the international stage as well, most recently at the 2025 FIBA U18 EuroBasket where he produced 12 points and 4.6 rebounds in seven appearances. He also competed in the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup, the 2022 and 2023 FIBA U16 European Championships.
Across all international competitions, he given France 9.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 28 total games.
He is now the third Frenchman on the Racers' roster for 2026-27, joining fellow countrymen Roman Domon and Mathis Courbon.
