LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Murray State defeated Bellarmine 8-7 in 10 innings in a tightly contested midweek matchup on the road, continuing their all-time series dominance and moving to 6-0 when playing the Knights.

With a committee of seven arms taking the mound today for Murray State (21-12, 7-2 MVC, Ben Rosin closed it out, tossing 2.2 scoreless innings to secure his first win on the mound as a Racer, moving to 1-0 on the season.

How it Happened

The lead was short lived as the Knights put up four runs in the seventh to take their first lead of the afternoon. Trailing by two in the eighth, the Racers responded when Airhart tripled to right field to score Jackson McCoy. Ott then tied the game at seven with a sacrifice fly to right.
After a scoreless ninth, Luke Mistone reached on a one out single in the 10th.
