Racer Men’s Basketball Inks Pavle Nikolic

Incoming power forward ranked as one of top U20 international players
Murray State men's basketball head coach Ryan Miller has announced the signing of 6-foot-8 forward Pavle Nikolic, who joins the Racers from Serbia.
He joins the team after averaging 15.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game on 34 percent from deep in 28 minutes a game in the Adriatic League.
Pavle brings in a wealth of experience to our program, having recently completed a successful season with his club team, head coach Ryan Miller said. He has an elite combination of size, strength and speed, and is a proven scorer and plays efficiently with the ball in his hands. We are thrilled to have Pavle as a member of the Racer Family.
Following his stellar club season, the Čačak, Serbia, native finished second in voting for ABA Young Player of the Year.
He had a significant impact for Team Serbia at FIBA U20 EuroBasket by leading the team in points and rebounds per game, playing an instrumental role for a Serbian squad that made the semifinals for the first time in a decade.
In seven games during the tournament, he averaged 16.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, shooting 51 percent from the floor and 44 percent from deep, en route to All-Star Five honors.
