Men’s Basketball to Face Georgia Tech at Bridgestone Arena

December 6 non-conference contest will be Racers’ first meeting with the Yellow Jackets since 1956
Murray State men's basketball will face off with Georgia Tech in Nashville's Bridgestone Arena for a non-conference match-up on Sunday, December 6. A tip-off time will be announced at a later date.
The Racers and Yellow Jackets will be playing as part of an exciting doubleheader in the Music City, with the other contest featuring Tennessee and NC State.
"Facing Scott Cross' Georgia Tech squad is a great opportunity to prepare us for Missouri Valley Conference play, postseason basketball, and ultimately help build the championship mentality we're striving for every day," head coach Ryan Miller said. "Our team embraces these types of moments because they provide an opportunity to showcase our program and the way we compete. We are looking forward to seeing Racer Nation out in full force in Nashville for what will be a great day of college basketball."
Racer fans will have the ability purchase tickets when the event goes on-sale to the general public on Friday, June 5, at 9 a.m. Tickets will be available for purchase by clicking here.
The non-conference showdown will mark the first time that the two teams have faced off, with the last meeting coming in 1956. The all-time series is tied 1-1, with Murray State securing a 77-66 victory at home in 1954.
