Racers set for European Tour

Murray State traveling to Spain, Greece and France
The Murray State men's basketball team is set to depart on Sunday for an international tour that will take the Racers to three European countries through August 12.
The Racers will land in Barcelona on Monday morning and will play a game there on Wednesday, the first of four scheduled contests. The itinerary also features stops in Mykonos, Greece and Paris, with Murray State playing in Mykonos on August 8. The Racers wrap up the tour in Paris with back-to-back contests on August 10 and 11 before beginning the trek back to the States on August 12.

"This trip is about much more than basketball," head coach Ryan Miller stated. "It's an incredible opportunity for our team to continue building the culture we're creating at Murray State, and we are appreciative and thankful to our administration and donors for allowing this trip to come together.
"The work we've put in throughout the summer has helped establish a strong foundation, and we're excited to test ourselves while representing Murray State on an international stage," Miller added. "We believe experiences like this bring teams closer together and shape the championship program we're working to build."

Murray State will return to campus in the late afternoon on August 12, just ahead of the beginning of the fall semester on Aug. 18 and the official start of the 2026-27 campaign.
