Butch Mosby is a former Racer quarterback who played for Coach Houston Nutt in his first season at Murray State 1993. Before he played six seasons of football in Germany and enjoyed a short career as a rapper, where he had a following in Europe and the middle east, Mosby set the FCS record for completing his first 19 passes in a win at UT Martin. He wasn't around when Coach Houston Nutt's team realized greatness in the 1995 and 1996 season, but Butch was there for the start of it and those times are still with him today.

Plus a check on Racer soccer opening MVC play against Illinois State and the Murray State golf teams see excellent finishes from Peyton Purvis, Trey Wall and Ellin Tynan.
