2010: Appeared in all 51 games for Murray State…made all but two starts at 3rd
base, with the others coming at shortstop…opened season with a pair of hits, two
runs and an RBI against SIU Edwardsville…hit her only triple of the season and
also stole a base against the Cougars...drove in a pair of runs and scored twice
in a 9-1 win over SIU Edwardsville…was 2-4 at the plate and scored a pair of runs
in an 8-1 victory at Tennessee State…drove in four runs on two hits as the Racers
defeated Tennessee Tech on the road 12-6…hit a first inning grand slam to key a
9-4 win against Southeast Missouri…drove in three runs on two hits and scored
once to beat Mid Continent 8-4…collected two hits and homered to drive in a pair
against Eastern Illinois in the OVC Tournament
Before MSU: One of four Racers to spend her first two seasons as a member of the
Lake Land College team …helped the team to a 46-9 record in 2009…had a .400
batting average with 13 doubles, 29 RBIs and 30 runs scored as a sophomore…
earned Region 24 All-Tournament Team honors as a freshman…finished her
freshman season with a .408 batting average, four home runs and 35 RBIs…spent
four seasons playing on the Momence Community High School varsity squad…
earned all-conference and all-area honors her final two seasons…finished her
senior campaign with 36 runs scored, 28 RBIs, a .349 batting average and a .435 on
base percentage…tallied a 4.06 GPA on a four-point scale as a prep…a member
of the National Honor Society, and was a Wendy’s High School Heisman Award
nominee…also a standout on the Redskins basketball team as a prep, she helped
her team to three regional and one sectional championships…ended her four-year
varsity career with over 1,000 career points and was an all-area, all-conference

Personal: Born Stephanie Lynn Mattocks, Feb. 14, 1989 in Momence, Ill….daughter
of Marty and Cheri Mattocks…has one brother, Mark (17)…majoring in learning
and behavior disorders/elementary education
