2010: Started all but one of the 30 matches she participated in for the Racers...finished the season with 53 total blocks, good for second on the team...also had the second-highest block assists total (47)...tallied a career-best 13 kills at Southeast Missouri (Oct. 26) and a career-high .750 (6k-0e-8ta) hitting percentage against Eastern Illinois (Oct. 16).
2009: Became a starter for the Racers in her sophomore season...was one of three players to participate and start in all 31 matches...finished the season No. 2 in hitting percentage (.282) and in blocks (8-82=90)...also ranked No. 5 in the OVC in hitting percentage...named to the Dean’s List at Murray State during the Spring semester of the 2009-10 school year... named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2008: Saw action in seven matches for the Racers, starting in five...tallied 15 kills and nine blocks...had a career match against James Madison (Aug. 30) in the second match of the season when she tallied four blocks, four kills, and 14 attempts...one of three players on the roster to not record a reception error and the only player who is allowed to block that did not record a blocking error.
BEFORE MSU: A four-year member of the St. Charles West High School volleyball team...earned first team all-district and All-Gateway Athletic Conference North honors her junior and senior campaigns, while being named to the Second Team All-District and All-GAC teams as a sophomore...her senior campaign earned a Second Team All-Region honor...averaged 1.33 blocks and 4.72 digs per game for the Warriors her final campaign...led St. Charles with 245 kills and a .380 hitting percentage in 2007...named All-GAC North Academic Team...also participated in basketball and track & field as a prep...was student council treasurer.
PERSONAL: Born Mary Catherine Cunningham, July 18, 1989 in St. Charles, Mo....daughter of Larry and Martha Cunningham...has one brother; Larry, Jr. (24)...majoring in math education.
