2011: Played in five matches and started one... Recorded five of her six total blocks against Eastern Illinois (Nov. 1)... The five blocks against EIU tied for the second most in a single-match last season... Named to OVC Commisioner's Honor Roll.
BEFORE MSU: A starter of the varsity squad at Beaver Creek High School for two seasons…helped the team to two-straight sectional championships and runner-up finishes in the district finals…earned GWOC All-Conference and District 15 honors her final two seasons as a prep…recorded 262 kills and 164 blocks in just two seasons with the Beavers…as a senior she hit .356 and added 34 service aces on her way to being named a District 15 Senior All-Star and Academic All-Star…claimed both the GWOC tournament and Central Division championships as a junior…team finished the season with a 19-6 record and went 15-7 her senior campaign.
PERSONAL: Born Kelsey Michael Van Oss, April 13, 1993 in Beaver Creek, Ohio....daughter of Peggy and Joseph Van Oss…has two sisters; Jessi (28) and Joie (26) and one brother; Skyler (15)…Majoring in engineering physics.
