Second Team All-OVC selection … ranked second nationally and set a new program record with nine triples … began the season with a school record 50-game on-base streak, the longest active streak in the country when it ended … third in the country averaging 1.20 runs per game … led the league and was seventh nationally with 67 runs scored … his 67 runs scored were the third-most in MSU history … second on the team (minimum of 100 at-bats) with a .341 batting average … recorded 22 extra-base hits and 40 RBIs … went 8-for-12 on stolen base attempts … had 22 multi-hit games and 20 games with multiple runs scored
Before MSU
Bauer hit a team-high .376 in 47 games in 2015 at SWICC. Bauer was second on the squad with 42 runs scored and 36 RBIs. Bauer recorded 10 doubles, five triples and had a .482 on-base percentage for the Blue Storm. Bauer was named to the GRAC all-conference team and was a member of the NJCAA All-Region 24 team. Bauer was also teammates with Caleb Arbeiter Derrik Watson at Southwestern.
