BEFORE MSU: Batted .500 in his senior season (2003) at Murray High under coach Cary Miller...helped Tigers to the district title that year...named the 2003 Region I Co-Player of the Year...named to the East-West All-Star Team...part of the regional champion and Elite Eight team in his junior year (2002)...named to the East-West All-Star Team that season...Tigers went 26-3 in his sophomore season (2001) and won the district title...was a four-year letterwinner in soccer...named to the 110-Percent Award.
