2006: One of three ’Breds to hit above .300, finishing the season at .327...finished the season going 5-for-6 at Jacksonville State...had three hits four times...27 of his 28 starts were at first base...had a season-high 15 putouts twice and 10 or more putouts in seven games...had 18 assists.
2005: One of three pitcher/fielders on the roster, along with Michal Perconte and Tyler Pittman...saw limited action, playing in 23 games as a non-pitcher and starting in 10...saw three appearances as a pitcher...struck out nine and walked five (a 1.80 ratio) in 10.0 innings...struck out seven batters at Kentucky with only three walks in five innings...as a batter, had a season-high two hits three times.
2004: Got his first career hit against Eastern Illinois on April 3...had a season-high two hits at Southern Illinois on April 14...pitched in one game, at Eastern Kentucky on April 9, allowing one hit in one inning.
BEFORE MSU: Batted .510 in his senior season (2003) at Central HS under coach Jason Engelbret...named to all-state All-Metro and all-city honors...played four seasons of baseball at CHS...named to all-city first team in football...also played basketball.
PERSONAL: Born Jamie Albert Leidolf on Nov. 5, 1984, in Evansville, Ind., the son of Erv and Mary Beth Leidolf...has two brothers, Andy (25) and Josh (24), and one sister, Rachel (18)...enjoys fishing and golfing...majoring in integrated studies.
