- MSU’s only returning player that played significant minutes from the 2021-22 season.
 - Started all 32 games with per game averages of 8.8 points and 6.6 rebounds (ranked eighth MVC).
 - Shot .540 from the field (105-of-185) and a career-high from the free throw line at .770 (67-of-87).
 - Led the team with 212 total rebounds (89 offensive rebounds to rank 65th NCAA).
 - Had double-doubles to rank fourth MVC and 215th NCAA.
 - Scored double-figures 12 times.
 - Season-high 21 points vs Valparaiso on 10-of-18 from the field.
 - Season-high 15 rebounds vs Tulsa at the Myrtle Beach Classic
 - In two seasons with the Racers, scored 475 points and hauled in 426 rebounds (40th and sixth at MSU among two-year players).

- After transferring to MSU from Southern, Burns made a positive impact on the team.
 - Was a starter in all 34 games in the 2021-22 season.
 - Scored 198 points for a per game average of 5.8 to go with a rebound average of 6.3 for eighth place in the OVC.
 - Although he didn’t qualify to be among the field goal percentage leaders in the OVC, his .575 FG average (77-of-134) was third in the OVC and 26th all-time at Murray State.
 - Had six games of 10 or more points with a season-high 19 points vs Campbellsville.
 - Was second in the OVC (25th in NCAA 3.15per game) with 107 offensive rebounds behind only Morehead State’s Johni Broome at 112.
 - Had a career-high 15 rebounds against Middle Tennessee.
 - Combining his two seasons at Southern and one season at MSU, Burns has scored 529 points in 72 games for a scoring average of 7.3ppg.
 
Before MSU
- As a freshman in 2019-20, saw action in 32 games averaging 8.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in just over 18 minutes per game.
 - Was seventh in the Southwestern Athletic Conference with 1.8 offensive rebounds per game.
 - Had 14 points and seven rebounds at Nebraska.
 - Scored 16 points and nine rebounds at Wright State.
 - In the shortened season of 2020-21, he played six games with 9.3 points per game with 5.0 rebounds.
