Before MSU
- Led Holly Springs to the Mississippi 3A state tournament championship game where they finished runner up.
- Helped HSHS to 23 wins in the 2017-18 season, he scored 26.3 points per game to go with 7.3 rebounds and 2.6 steals.
- Scored 816 points in 31 games as a senior.
- Was an 80 percent free throw shooter and had a game against Lake Cormorant where he was 15-of-15 and ended with 47 points.
- Scored a career-high 50 points against Palmer.
- Had nine games of 30 or more points in 2017-18.
- Finished as the all-time leading scoring at Holly Springs with 2,788 points.
- He surpassed Clevin Hannah (2003-06) who had 2,300 points and went on to play at Wichita State.
